Upcoming Free Alzheimer’s Information Sessions
Did you know that the Rhode Island Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association offers free education sessions throughout the year?
Mark Heffner is a regular presenter of the “Legal and Financial Considerations of Alzheimer’s Disease” class, in which protecting life savings from the significant costs of nursing home care, and opportunities for spouses of those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease are discussed. The session is part of the Getting Started Education Series.
The next class on this topic will be held on Monday, December 1st at the North Kingstown Senior Center, from 1-2:30pm. This is a free class but registration is required. Please call 1-800-272-3900 to reserve a seat by November 10, 2014.
In addition to the Getting Started series, a session called “Know the 10 Warning Signs – Early Detection Matters” will be also presented at various locations (Coventry, Lincoln, Tiverton, East Providence, Providence, and Barrington) over the coming months.
