Bill has been a paralegal with Heffner & Associates for more than ten years, serving as our primary estate planning paralegal, providing our clients with support throughout the estate planning process. Working with Attorney Heffner, Bill helps to ensure that each client’s unique plan is implemented as efficiently as possible.
Bill strongly believes that a client’s legal materials must be customized to his or her specific circumstances. He works closely with Attorney Heffner to tailor documents to clients’ individual needs, adjusts their financial plans to meet their unique short and long-term goals, and when necessary helps ensure a smooth transition to the agents and successor trustees whom our client has chosen.
Our clients appreciate the care and attention to detail that Bill brings to his work on their behalf. In implementing any estate plan, there is a need to interact with banks, brokerage firms and other financial institutions with whom our clients have accounts. Bill takes satisfaction in “cutting the red tape”, reducing or eliminating our clients’ exposure to the increasingly complex world of financial services.
Bill lives in Cranston with his wife, Judy. Although he was born in upstate New York, Bill has now lived in Rhode Island for nearly 30 years, long enough to remember “where the Almacs used to be”.
