Upcoming Event: Ending Alzheimer’s by 2025
A terrific opportunity for learning more about Alzheimer’s Disease research is coming up in Cranston later this month. On October 28th, internationally renowned speaker, reseacher and teacher Dr. Rudy Tanzi will present “Ending Alzheimer’s by 2025” at Cranston High School East (Tanzi’s alma mater).
Dr. Tanzi is a pioneer of Alzheimer’s reseach. The leader of the Alzheimer’s Genome Project, he has identified dozens of Alzheimer’s Disease genes. He was named in the 2015 TIME 100 Most Influential People in the World and has received the two highest awards for Alzheimer’s research, the Metropolitan Life Award and the Potamkin Prize.
